This is over 5 hours of live performances from a gathering in Bed-Stuy, Summer 2023. The 13-hour event was part of a community-wide celebration, which empowered the gathering's vision. In the early 1990s our sonic tribe roamed Manhattan's Lower East Side, making new sonic/visual experiments and experiences in venues throughout the area. Though there are issues around the word "Illbient," the one thing that is 100% clear is that a tribe of us played years of performances together expanding the ambient genre. The approximate 30th anniversary of that tribe is our cause for celebration, reflection, and generating new experiences.

The sold-out gathering fully exceeded our expectations of the event executive producer/host Darryl Hell, who brought in Mike VideoPunk and Jeremy Slater as coproducers. It created a wonderful bridge between the original tribe and new tribe members that weren't born when we started. 6 of the 11 performances were from original tribe members.
